Hari Jyot College of Optometry (HJCO) is a premier optometry educational institute in Navsari, Gujarat. Established in September 2005, the college is a self-financed institution managed by Rotary Eye Institute, Navsari, and affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat.
The college offers a Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom.) — a five-year undergraduate degree program (after 12th Science) including a clinical internship — and a Master of Optometry (M.Optom.) — a two-year postgraduate program. As part of the Allied Health Care profession, these programs are designed to provide comprehensive academic knowledge and extensive clinical exposure, preparing students for successful careers in eye care and vision science.
HJCO is a Life Member of the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO), affiliated to the Optometry Confederation of India (OCI), and serves as an IACLE (International Association of Contact Lens Educators, Australia) Resource Centre.

Vision is such an example; we have five senses in our body; The eye is an organ that detects light and sends signals along the optic nerve to the brain. In humans, the eye is a valuable sense organ that gives us the ability to see. It allows for light perception and vision, including the ability to differentiate between colors and depth. Visual sense helps to make our life more meaningful in terms of Success, Emotions/Feelings, and Happiness. This visual perception makes our life a memorable and unforgettable experience.
